It does take a little more effort to come here
than other destinations but it is worth it. Tourism is
taking its first steps here in the Kingdom and the authorities
are still working out the best way to handle the
situation. Desert Sea Divers has its own Government
Relations Officer who does all he can to make sure that the
paperwork is processed as promptly as possible.
The Saudi Embassy's
also are getting used to this new system and sometimes are
very busy dealing with Religious Pilgrims who are coming
here. It would be most helpful if you can submit your
passport details to us as far in advance as
possible.
As Saudi Arabia is not a
“normal” tourist destination a little more planning needs to
take place for you come here. We are pleased to help plan and
receive tourist groups of 6 or more. Unfortunately groups of
less than 6 are not viable. We cannot organize in county tours
for you only diving. As soon as you have a group together
please contact us and we will start the process from our
end.
The price for diving
includes, Boat trips, services of a Divemaster, Tanks,
Weights, Tea/Coffee, soft drinks, water and hot lunch on
board. A night dive is included in the package price and we
can organize night diving off the beach for you if
required.
Payment conditions: We
accept Visa and Master card. Or you can pay in US Dollar or
Saudi Riyal. There is no need to send a deposit. You can
settle your account with us when you arrive.
Immigration restrictions:
Unfortunately we can not accept application from ladies that
are travelling alone or with their boyfriends. Married ladies
must be accompanied by their husbands. Single ladies must be
accompanied by a immediate male family member (Father,
Brother, etc.).
